Just before the arrival of your first baby, like every couple, you must spend some relaxing time together at a lovely vacation spot. This is because later on, your life would be completely changed with the new addition. When you become a wife, you get new responsibilities but when you become a mom then these responsibilities are almost doubled. With proper care and sensible planning things can be made enjoyable and easy as well.

Here are few tips for pregnant women who want to go on vacation with their husband and spend some memorable time before the arrival of newborn.

First of all, consult your gynecologist and ask for the permission to travel. If your doctor allows you to travel then the second thing is to ask for supplements or medicines you would need to carry with you.

Also discuss about the mode of transportation you'll be taking in order to reach your desired vacation spot (airplane, car, bus, cruise, train etc). You must clearly follow the dos and don'ts as told by your gynecologist.

Don't forget to carry your medical reports or any other medical documents for use in case of emergency. Also carry your mobile which must include the contact number of your gynecologist so that you can consult him or her if you need to ask anything.

Remember the comfort must be your number one priority throughout the journey, so do not make a hectic schedule. Do not plan for more than two destinations. You are there to enjoy and not to get sick, simply make the most of this trip with your husband.

If you are traveling by air and there is not much space for you to sit comfortably then do not hesitate to ask for changing your seat. They are mostly cooperative, just that take the initiative to ask them.
